INCUBATION PROGRAM

Haiti Start-up Talent

A six-month full-time incubation program that focuses on building a resilient startup ecosystem in Haiti. It gives selected enterprises access to the best entrepreneurial training, a network of mentors, and a fully equipped coworking space. Participants who complete the incubation program will have the opportunity to pitch their startup to a network of potential partners and investors for loans or investment.

ACCELERATOR PROGRAM

CIIF Haiti Festival Accelerator

In partnership with Foundations CARACOLI and TAMISE, the CIIF Haiti Festival Accelerator program aims to equip Creative Industries professionals with enhanced technical and business skills, particularly market integration and the mentorship they need to succeed. The program offers Accelerator training in festival development and management and a professional development module to support the increase of diversified career opportunities for festivals and facilitate the improvement of sustainable livelihoods and income sources.

INCUBATOR

Ayiti Pwòp Incubator

An initiative designed to take on Haiti’s s environmental issues through the capacity building of socially oriented Small Growing Businesses (SGBs) in the post-revenue stage in waste management, circular economy, and clean energies. While promoting job creation, social impact, and wealth creation, the Ayiti Pwòp Incubator supports and grows skills on early-stage entrepreneurs who have proven their concept and are looking for support to scale their social business and become self-sustainable with the potential to create substantial environmental changes in Haiti.

REFORESTATION

Tree lottery program

An initiative promoting reforestation through competing farming communities in Haiti as a tool to restore ecosystems, improve livelihoods, and tackle climate change. The program targets smallholder farmers focusing on fruit-producing trees and timber as cash crop trees through a pay-for-performance approach and social reforestation model.

AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION

Farming Haiti 360 – Bringing the farm to the classroom

The initiative targets primary and high school students to consider farming a career path. It promotes agricultural education through a Virtual Reality (VR) learning platform to immerse people in various agricultural and farm settings. The aim is to drive digital education to rural, urban, and remote Haiti to influence the next generation of farmers and influence better attitudes toward farming and farming practices. Reducing the urban-rural divide by using virtual reality; Allowing people to experience life and work on a farm through virtual field days and farm tours, and teaching the public about where their food originates.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

Women-led enterprises Accelerator program

With a special focus on rural communities, the agri-food sector and the creative industries, WAP is an initiative designed to provide business development support services to Small Growing Businesses (SGBs) owned by women entrepreneurs under the age of 35 years old. These services include business assessments, on-the-ground monitoring, market studies, capacity building, business plan redactions, and acceleration services. and steering of each enterprise to meet investor objectives, impact, and financial returns.

BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP

Haitian Diaspora engagement platform

An initiative crafted to promote partnerships between small growing businesses (SGBs) operating in Haiti and the diaspora. The program aims to foster direct Diaspora Investment (DDI) in local businesses and better leverage the Haitian diaspora involvement in reinforcing the local entrepreneurial ecosystem through continuous engagement, knowledge transfer, and financial capabilities as critical actors in creating a business-led economy in Haiti.

FORMALIZATION OF BUSINESS ACTIVITIES

My business strives program — informal to formal status

The initiative is designed to accompany qualified and inspired local entrepreneurs operating an informal business after many years in existence. It promotes the transition to the formalization of economic activities and the importance of business compliance with the General Tax Directorate or Direction Générale des Impôts (DGI) for better monitoring and protection by the government as a path for success and global exposure.

SUSTAINABLE FOOD SYSTEM

Haiti Food System Alliance

An initiative designed to build a resilient and sustainable food system in Haiti through the alliance of fourteen (14) partners working across diverse aspects of the food system and value chain development (research, training, production, and feeding) seeking to leverage and strengthen partnerships to create more inclusive, profitable, and sustainable food systems and value chains in rural communities in Haiti. We strive to dramatically enhance collaboration with tried and tested partners and scale-up work to feed more children in schools and hospitals with local production and drive continued growth in rural household incomes.

We are dedicated to developing rural entrepreneurship and innovative leadership by delivering advisory services, mapping resilient business ecosystems, and investing in businesses that build sustainable livelihoods throughout the country.
